Ephesians 1:16
have not stopped giving thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers
There was a false teaching that promoted the idea that one should not pray for Gentiles who reject the Way of the Flesh. Paul, being a Jew, would not have been expected to pray for them either, but Paul corrects this idea by saying that he also prays for them.
